Yohotel From the people who brought you sushi on conveyor belts, comes a new concept in hotels. The Yotels consists of supper compact guest room of only 10.5m2, which allow them to charge competitive rates in prime locations. ( £40 - £70 overnight). The concept was inspired by BA first class cabins and the capsule hotels in Japan. The design by Priestman Goode is sharp and contemporary and incorporates many space and time saving ideas such as double rotating beds, techno walls and automated check in.
The first hotels are due to open late in 2006 inside London Heathrow’s terminal 4 and London Gatwick’s south terminal. This will be followed with central London locations in 2007.

Hotel fox In the hart of Copenhagen, each of the 61 rooms has been painted with a unique piece of art. The styles range from Japanese Manga style graphic art to seventies Psychedelic.
The 21 young Artist that undertook this project come from various countries round the whole and that shows in their different styles. There are four room sizes (S, M, L & XL) and the price range from 125 – 215 euros per night. There is also a very trendy bar and kitchen.

Casa Camper The well-known shoe company from the rolling hills of Mallorca, is now getting into the urban chic hotel business. Casa Camper first 25 bed hotel is located in the trendy barrio of Ravel in Barcelona. The hotel has been renovated by the renowned Spanish architect Rafael Moneo from its former life as a 19th century convent. The interior spaces have been designed by Fernando Amat.
